October 6 th to 18 th 2002 we held a workshop at the Bauhaus Uni Weimar. The workshop was called Interactive 3D Virtual Reality Environments.

Growing VRML

The worm, just watch it grow. multi-user Version.

An interactive L-System. The work is originally by Dr. Leemon Baird see the original javascript version. We ported the code to vrmlscript and added the interactive control.

Drag the control to see something happen in the single user or the multi-user Version.

The same L-System with images as inner nodes single user or the multi-user Version.

Draging Image Tiles

Drag and drop images from a website into the world. The images get displayed in front of you and you can then drag individual tiles of the image.

Droping Objects

Drag and drop images, sounds and vrml files from a website into the world. The items draged get displayed in the world. The work is originally an example from Holger Grahn, we adopted it to the workshop needs and made it multi-user.

Record and Replay Multi-User Sessions

Kristian Hildebrand, Sebastian Heymann and Henrik Thoms worked on recording and replay of multi-user sessions. An example will be brought online later.
