Am 26. März, 2009 stellten Upgrade! Munich und lothringer13/spiegel eine neue Kompilation kurzer Kunstvideos von Münchner KünstlerInnen vor.

Wir freuen uns sehr, bekanntgeben zu dürfen, als erste ausländische Screening wird die DVD bei der 10. Jahresfeier des Upgrade! New York gezeigt, in dem renommierten Medienkunstzentrum Eyebeam.

Das Upgrade! New York ist von der Künstlerin Yael Kanarak gegrundet worden, und ist die "Mutter aller Upgrade!-Knoten." Eine zusätzliche Screening ist im Juni in Brooklyn im Aussicht.

Im September 2009 wird die DVD in einer längeren Ausstellung im lothringer13/spiegel gezeigt. Die DVD wird auch in das lothringer13/spiegel-Archiv und in die spiegel-Videothek aufgenommen.

 In May 2009 Upgrade! Munich presents:

  in cooperation with lothringer13/spiegel:

a new video art compilation
of work by Munich artists

at Eyebeam in New York City

as part of the

10th anniversary celebration of
Upgrade! New York

On March 26, 2009, Upgrade! Munich and lothringer13/spiegel premiered a new DVD compilation of short art videos made by Munich artists.

We are delighted to be able to announce that the first international sScreening of the DVD will be for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Upgrade! New York in the well-known Art+Technology Center Eyebeam.

Tthe Upgrade! New York was founded by artist Yael Kanarek and is the "Mother Node" for all subsequent Upgrade!s. An additional screening is being planned in Brooklyn in June.

In September 2009 the videos will be shown in a longer exhibit at the lothringer13/spiegel here in Munich. The DVD will become part of the lothringer13/spiegel archive and will be available for viewing in its video library.
