Zara's Daihachi Dinner

Dinner at Daihachi has become a tradition. Zara dreams of returning to Ogaki to write the definitive "Daihachi Cookbook."

This time we got to taste namazake - a young, cloudy, still fermenting sake. Mai-san, the owner's daughter, served it from a bamboo tokkuri and bamboo cups.

Yamamoto-san and Fuyama-san construct origami as souveniers for Zara.

A final "kampai" with Sakane-sensei, Yamamoto-san and Fuyama-san.
