Greece 2000: The ferry from Venice to Corfu

Our ship, the Minoan Lines ferry "Arethusa," sailed from Venice around 7pm. The ship is about 6 stories tall, and gives you a fantastic overview of the main island of Venice.

The ferry starts from the western side of the main island of Venice.
It sails directly past the Piazza San Marco.

Sunset over the smokestacks of

Life on the decks of the Arethusa. The weather was warm and we lived and slept on deck for the 24 hours of the passage to Corfu.

Entering the harbor of Igomenitsa,
we encountered the Arethusa's
sister ship.
